Max Verstappen said after the race that he could definitely win the 2024 world championship with McLaren, or even Ferrari. Many were surprised to ask his boss how a recent winner could say that.
"Based on this logic, he can say that it is absolutely true. There is no driver who can beat him anymore, only himself, and there is no other driver who can win the championship behind the wheel of Red Bull. And since he was not in the best car, it is clear that he would have a chance to win the world title in another one. It was a difficult and bumpy period, but I am not sure if we will be so successful in 2025...
