Few people know, but Max Verstappen is not only involved in Formula 1, he has his own racing team, which has now signed a contract with Aston Martin.
Given the well-known F1 rumors, it is quite interesting and can be considered a strong approximation that Verstappen.com Racing will line up at the start with a race car from the British manufacturer and direct support in the GT World Challenge Endurance series.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will be driven by the trio of Harry King, Thierry Vermeulen and Chris Lulham. For the latter, the challenge will be particularly exciting as the youngster comes from the world of simulators and this will be his first race car to take to the track in the real world. Team Verstappen has a long history of helping young drivers develop their wings, but this will be the first time they have given an opportunity to an athlete coming from a virtual environment:
"I have always dreamed of helping young drivers one day, and I have been working for some time to create this opportunity for a simulator driver. Together with Chris Lulham, whom we know well from Team Redline, and Thierry Vermeulen and Harry King, we are embarking on a new, exciting challenge. We will be working with a professional team in a competition that represents a very serious challenge. We still have a lot of work to do to get the best out of our cars and drivers, but our goal is clearly to fight at the forefront. We are looking forward to an exciting year!" - said Max Verstappen, who is definitely not ruled out of joining the team one day.
