A door through which Max Verstappen is increasingly peeking, and it can almost be declared that sooner or later he will walk through it. Excellent proof of this is the "unintentional statement" that the Dutchman made in Japan when saying goodbye to his engine partner Honda:
"We've had a great adventure together, which I've really enjoyed. Of course, we've had some success before Honda, but I never dreamed we'd reach such heights together. Four championships speak for themselves! Now I'm just trying to enjoy this weekend, I want to be as fast as possible, but the most important thing is to celebrate what we've achieved together in Formula 1. And maybe what joint successes await us in the future..." - Verstappen hinted with a serious message.
