The sprint race continued with the US Grand Prix, where after a long time Max Verstappen was able to start from first place and turned this opportunity into victory.
Verstappen got off to a good start, but Lando Norris got off to an even better start, and he immediately moved up to second place behind the Dutch driver. Behind them, George Russell held his position steadily, while there was not much movement in the rear areas. It was different in the Scuderia Ferrari camp, where the drivers really threw themselves into the fray, even against their direct competitors. When reading the names between first and sixth place, we didn't see anything really surprising, but lower down it was different: two Haas in the top ten, Sergio Perez again couldn't match Yuki Tsunoda even in a more powerful car, so interesting events happened. Finally, after a great fight, Perez managed to overtake the Japanese, who was also overtaken by Oscar Piastri. On lap 19, Verstappen's victory was no longer in doubt, but behind him there was a big fight for the podium. In the end, Carlos Sainz dominated the entire sprint, securing second place ahead of Lando Norris.
The timer will arrive soon, hopefully with similar excitement!
