Stella has a passionate love for the sport, which is also indicated by the fact that, despite his position as the leader of a major rival team, he enthusiastically followed Lewis Hamilton's first steps at Ferrari:
"I watched the events as an outsider and I can safely say that I thought it was a really great debut from Lewis. I consider myself a Formula 1 fan, I worked at Scuderia Ferrari for many years, so I can't deny that I was excited to watch the events. It was a truly historic sporting moment when the seven-time world champion joined the team with the greatest traditions in F1.
It's a wonderful story, but for me it also has another aspect that Lewis and Ferrari know very well. In the end, what matters is what happens on the track, and they are our opponents. We respect them, we follow their work together with enthusiasm, but we only want one thing: to make their lives as difficult as possible and finally defeat them. There is no other way, with the greatest respect, but we will crush Ferrari's enthusiasm!” - declared Andrea Stella with great respect, but even more motivation.
