The real rookie parade will take place at the first free practice of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where, in addition to Arthur Leclerc, five other rookies will test their skills at a real F1 weekend competition for the first time in their lives.
This year, many teams left the rules to the last minute, resulting in an unusually high number of first-time entries. Which you should get used to, because from 2025 this will change, as due to stricter regulations, each team must provide 2-2 free practice sessions for their rookies, so more and more new faces will appear on the tracks in FP1. And who will be the ones we see now?
Here is the list:
Red Bull Racing: Max Verstappen to be replaced by Isack Hadjar
Scuderia Ferrari: Carlos Sainz to be replaced by Arthur Leclerc
McLaren: Oscar Piastri to be replaced by Ryō Hirakawa

Aston Martin: Lance Stroll to be replaced by Felipe Drugovich
Racing Bulls: Yuki Tsunoda to be replaced by Ayumu Iwase
Williams: Alexander Albon to be replaced by Luke Browning
