Everyone remembers the "theater" that interrupted the first start of the Australian Grand Prix, the accident of Isaac Hadjar, the despair of the young driver, the consolation of Anthony Hamilton.
They also remember that Helmut Marko directly called Hadjar's behavior "shameful" and even unworthy of an athlete. Ralf Schumacher, however, was not happy with Marko's opinion.
"I certainly wouldn't do it, but I understand how difficult it is for a driver preparing for his first F1 race to process it at that moment. Up until that moment he had been performing brilliantly, had a chance of a good result, of scoring points, and then this happened. He felt he had let his team down. Not to mention that Red Bull is not an environment where they are very tolerant of mistakes... But would his despair and crying be embarrassing? I think on the contrary, it can happen to anyone in such circumstances. It's great if you admit your feelings!" - Schumacher stood up for the young man in a sporting manner.
What do you think, is it really embarrassing for an athlete to cry?
