George Russell apparently believes the 2025 season could end badly because Lando Norris and his team have an advantage the sport has never seen before.
According to the Briton, such an advantage did not exist even when Max Verstappen won almost every race of the season...
"The current McLaren is clearly capable of winning every race with this car. They have a strong pair, I think they could do it, but life will definitely get in the way somewhere... Anyway, I've never seen such an advantage, they are stronger than Red Bull Racing ever before. You knew then that if Max is in that car, you have practically no chance of beating him on your own. The season is long, hopefully there will be moments when everything doesn't come together for them, and we have to be prepared for those occasions.
Unfortunately, it is clear that they are doing something better than the other participants, the difference is most noticeable when the tires start to warm up. They really hit something there, they can gain a huge difference. Of course, we will still progress, but overall I do not think we will be able to beat them on our own strength.” - George Russell drew a sad vision.
