Lando Norris dominated Saturday's sprint race at the Qatar Grand Prix, but handed the victory to his teammate Oscar Piastri on the final lap.
Both McLaren drivers had a great start, Lando Norris immediately broke away from the peloton. In the back regions, it was interesting to watch Max Verstappen struggle, the new world champion could not even fight his way past Pierre Gasly on lap four. He managed to do so only on lap eight, which is unusual for him... Speaking of Red Bull Racing, it is also worth mentioning the "performance" of Sergio Perez, who could not even overtake Franco Collapinto starting from the pits (the Argentine immediately did it instead of him) and drove in 19th place. It should be noted here that the fact that someone can be a Formula 1 driver and a member of the Red Bull team is slowly approaching the limit of unbelief... Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc, after a dramatic battle against Lewis Hamilton, moved up to fifth place, so we saw the order of McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari. In the end, it didn't change, except that in the last lap Lando Norris handed over the victory to Oscar Piastra, with George Russell finishing on the podium behind them.
