It wasn't an easy weekend at the Australian Grand Prix, but McLaren and especially Lando Norris managed to win with exemplary professionalism, never letting go of the chance to win for a moment. Woking makes no secret of the fact that they expect similar successes in the future...
This was expressed by Lando Norris, who said: 2025 is the best McLaren, whoever wants to be world champion has to beat them:
"We know very well that we still have a lot of work to do on our car this year. We can't get carried away, if we relax in this situation, we will lose, if we think everything is fine, they will overtake us. We will not do this loving-kindness!"
But we see and feel that this year we are the favourites, the team has done an amazing job, our car is really flying. But we are aware that there will be races where we will have problems too. For example, if the season started in Bahrain, I don't think we would win... But it is true that this year we will be the team to beat if anyone wants to fight for the world title. We have two drivers at the front who will motivate each other and Oscar Piasti will not do us the kindness of making mistakes very often. We already placed strongly in qualifying because we motivated each other and constantly increased our speed and we got the last tenths out of the car. So, the car is good, but our team is also very strong, and this is just the beginning.” - pointed out Norris.
