This is nothing new, as the four-time world champion has said many times that as much as he loves and appreciates Formula 1, life goes beyond it. And he wants to experience it...
This was indicated by the father of the Dutch star, Jos Verstappen, who revealed that according to his information, his son has a plan to withdraw from the F1 World Championship for a year as a trial:
"He still has a contract with Red Bull Racing until 2028, but after that nothing is certain. We'll see if F1 will still interest him after that... So far, throughout his career, everyone has always told him what to do and how to do it. Now he's getting to the point where he won't listen to anyone anymore, he'll just make his own decisions. It's certain that there is life outside of Formula 1, and that excites Max's imagination a lot."
"I assume he will step down for a year, try somewhere else and then come back. I don't know what will happen yet, but one thing is certain: he is not motivated by winning seven or eight championships, he will not chase records either, he is more than satisfied with what he has achieved in his Formula 1 career so far," Verstappen's father provided a really interesting statement.
What do you think, Max will just pack up and leave?
