Even though there are more and more young drivers in F1, there are still some established stars who still have many good years and successes ahead of them. The pre-season sensation concerns one of them, namely Lewis Hamilton.
Who is expected to bring a lot to Scuderia Ferrari. This is how fans and some experts see it. Now Juan Pablo Montoya has expressed his opinion:
"I see Lewis Hamilton's situation as the same as Fernando Alonso's. It doesn't matter that time is passing and that both are forty years old, they still have the pace to win the world championship. It is also clearly visible that even with weak cars they regularly achieve top 10 positions in qualifying, it is worth thinking about what will happen if they get competitive technology. In Lewis' case it would mean invincibility, I am sure of that.
If he gets a fast car under him, we will see the glow of the old Lewis Hamilton again, that driver and racer that no one could beat. Not even Max Verstappen. So the ball is now in Scuderia Ferrari's court..." - Montoya mused.
Would Hamilton really be that good?
