McLaren sent an unusually strong message, but this time to its own drivers. Andrea Stella stressed that a driver who does not support the interests of the team will not have a long life in the stable!
Stella did not defend herself, the team boss does not even want to imagine the debates that made McLaren's tactics difficult several times last year:
"With us, there is no first and second, both our drivers will get the same opportunities, we enter the year with the same principles as last year. We are proud of our performances from last year and the behavior of our drivers, their positive cooperation. We have learned a lot from 2024, and this includes the human factor. We were competitive, we will be competitive, we cannot make mistakes, for which we continue to need close cooperation. We have learned all the lessons from last year, everyone will get a chance to prove it. However, it is important to emphasize that if someone does not believe in the principles of McLaren, they are not the right person, nor the right racer for the team, we will say goodbye to them." - was a rather harsh message from Stella.
