Williams unveiled its 2025 car, Andrea Kimi Antonelli completed his first kilometers in the 2025 Mercedes in Spain.
The preparation is really necessary, because despite Antonelli being perhaps the most successful rookie of all time (according to his team boss, he has already completed almost 30 races, more than 9000 km), he does not seem at all convincing so far. Mercedes used its 2020 car, the W11, with camouflage paint, in a private test, and the fact that they believe in Antonelli is well demonstrated by the fact that he could be the first rookie in the team since 2010.
The team sees him as a future world champion, even though he seriously damaged the Mercedes during his "debut" in the first practice run at the Italian Grand Prix. Since then, he has driven the current race car again in Mexico and then participated in Abu Dhabi.
