Franco Collapinto's cometary entry and his performances may not only mark the beginning of a new career, but also the nation's return to Formula 1. What's more, a return to a grand prix with a rich tradition!
This is none other than the Argentine Grand Prix, for which official negotiations have already begun in Brazil. The Argentine delegation was represented by the country's Minister of Tourism and Sports, while Formula 1 was represented by Stefano Domenicali. Cesar Carman, president of the Argentine Automobile Club, spoke about the plans and ideas after the negotiations:
"Stefano was really open and nice to us. He said he would like to see another grand prix on the racing calendar, but he also did not hide that he expects a lot of work from us and we need to get started as soon as possible if our intentions are serious. We have a lot of tasks ahead of us, we need to improve our current track to get the highest rating needed for F1. We are very optimistic, but it is difficult to estimate, but if I had to, I think that the Argentine Grand Prix could become a reality in 2027-2028. I do not hide that we are very motivated by the debut and achievements of Franco Colapinto, a lot is happening because of him. The fans are excited, everyone is in euphoria, these days in Argentina are like a fairy tale." - said Carman.
