We have reached the last race of the 2024 season, which for some meant a farewell, for some a debut, and for some the winning of the world championship title.
The start developed interestingly, Max Verstappen very agilely got in front of Oscar Piasti and with this energy he pushed the Australian, as well as himself... Meanwhile, the second Red Bull also had a similar outcome, Sergio Perez lost in a duel with Valtteri Bottas and ended up off the track. The VSC phase followed, then Piasti solved the race of Franco Colapinto, who got an unfortunate puncture. Meanwhile, Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly were in the lead, but that only lasted until the pit stops.
As a result of various tactics, we saw the order of Norris, Sainz, Russell and practically long laps without incident. Meanwhile, Valtteri Bottas suffered a puncture and unfortunately also hit Kevin Magnussen. Paradoxically, the race of Bottas, who had performed brilliantly all weekend, ended without honor... The events after the start also did not go without punishment, Verstappen received ten seconds for his "action" against Piastrmi, while the latter received the same penalty for the incident with Colapinto.
Lewis Hamilton was the last to return to the track, the display showed the order of Norris, Sainz, Leclerc. The lines tightened, Norris, two Ferraris and two Mercedes, followed by Verstappen. Only in the upper middle part of the field were there minor battles, mutual overtaking, in the gray final race the performance of Gasly and Hülkenberg was the most impressive. And of course the victory of McLaren Lando Norris, who at the last moment won the title of constructors' world champion, steps for Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, and a beautiful overtaking of Lewis Hamilton in the last lap against George Russell.
